Anthem MRX 500 and 700 Receivers Now Shipping

Anthem, the leading manufacturer of high-end electronics for music, home theater and distributed audio systems, announces shipping of their MRX 500 and 700 receivers. All MRX series receivers feature seven channels of amplification, four HDMI in/one out and the ability to play music from a flash drive, USB disk drive or the Internet. For optimal sound reproduction from any set-up, MRX receivers are also equipped with the Anthem Room Correction (ARC) system.

Impassioned audiophiles who prefer separation between amplifier and preamplifier/processor still have that option with Anthem Reference products, while the new MRX receivers deliver the convenience and value of a single component. Anthem MRX receivers include support for the latest audio formats including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Pro Logic IIz, and DTS-HD Master Audio. Internet radio is available on both models while HD Radio is supported by the MRX 700 only.

MRX series receivers will also provide pass through for 3D movies and television when paired with a 3DTV and a 3D capable source component, making them a stalwart in 3D-enabled home theaters. Trigger output and second zone functionality along with video configuration memorized by source adds further value to the Anthem receiver line.

Silver winner of the 2010 Summit International Creative Awards for best “Consumer Product Website,” the new site features a fresh look and gear matching functionality.

Anthem, the leading manufacturer of high-end electronics for music, home theater and distributed audio systems launched a brand new website this month to support the growing Anthem community. With more intuitive navigation and classic designed, the innovative site was named a Silver Winner in the 2010 Summit International Creative Awards for best “Consumer Product Website,” selected from thousands of submissions from 24 countries.

Anthem’s new website delivers easy to access navigation with information featured by product model rather than series for quick access to product specifications. The homepage now prominently displays the latest product updates for consumers, dealers and press to keep all informed of the exciting changes to the renowned product lines.
